DITA KUBIN photographer

Born in 1975, Czechoslovak-born artist Dita Kubin currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada. After immigrating to Canada in 1981, and spent the remainder of her childhood years in Vancouver, British Columbia. Beginning out as a freelance photographer (1998) and  teacher.

AWARDS/PRIZES: BLACK & WHITE MAGAZINE (USA)  PHOTOGRAPHER'S FORUM 27^th Annual International Spring Photography Competition 2007. 1^st Place Black & White - "Stephen". Over 10,000 entries received, 120 countries participating. Festival International Montré al en Arts (FIMA), 2006 *Artist - Honorable Mention by Jury.
