Photography can be considerate a
Through it we can respectfully and
humbly observe human beings as subject to law and the innate worth
of the entire race: a source of equality and not the opposite. With
the eye of someone who notes change and believes it possible, the
photographer, through his reflection, makes it possible for us to
go beyond stereotypes. And Lorenzo Merlo, who has always lived
immersed in photography, finds in it his own, personal, way of
talking about the human condition in its entirety.
Approaching his subjects, without any
intention of describing a situation and with the desire to not
influence it in anyway, but simply portraits, making his subjects
spontaneously setting in front of his lens.
