FotoFest 2010 Biennial, the event dedicated to photography and photographic arts now in its 13th edition, will go to April 25th in Houston, Texas. Scheduled are exhibitions focused on contemporary US photography, the Meeting Place Portfolio Review, FotoFest Fine Print Auction (Thursday, March 23rd), FotoFest Workshops (Beyond Print: Using New Media for the Global Art Market and Multi-Media Storytelling: Narrative and Conceptual Art), Curatorial Dialogues, symposiums, films and videos.
The exhibitions will not only be held in museum and gallery spaces, but also in restaurants, non-profit art venues, corporate offices and dozens of stores throughout the city, for a total of two-hundred exhibition spaces.
