Zoom meets the photographers in Arles

Les Rencontres D’Arles 2010 open to-morrow, July 3.
And this year you can meet Zoom, in the new Village area, July 3 – 10.
On this occasion you can request 3 on-line free isssues: contact info@zoom-net.com

The exhibitions
Les Rencontres D’Arles is offering six different areas: one involving Argentina (headed by conceptual artist León Ferrari), one on rock (portraits of Mick Jagger and the punk aesthetic), one in homage to old films and movies (despite our digital age), one together with friends from the LUMA Foundation, one focused on filmmaker/photographer Marin Karmitz and the last on living conditions in prison.
A special note for the exhibition “Picto 1950-2010. 60 ans de complicità avec les photographes”, which offers a look at the complicity created between Pierre Gassmann and Brassaï during the Thirties and the fruits of this friendship (www.picto.fr)
