Having passed away exactly 100 years ago, Félix Tournachon aka Nadar (1820-1910) who often celebrated the art of portraiture, remains the emblem of 19th century photography. On show in Tour, in cooperation with the Jeu de Paume, Paris, are two hundred prints made from original negatives created by Nadar, father and son (Paul Nadar was born in 1856 and died in 1939), of theater actors and actresses of the era, illustrious people of the day and great artists of the Parisian bohemian world.
