On view are over thirty works, some being seen here for the first time, by artists Tina Berning and Michelangelo Di Battista who explore the hazy confines between photography, drawing and painting. Having met for the first time during a shoot for Vogue Italia in Summer 2007, they began working together in what has resulted in a highly creative and proficuous collaboration. Purposely ignoring the possibilities of computer manipulation, these two photographers prefer to enrich their images with other types of manual intervention. Being shown here are subjective female portraits that include such models as Claudia Schiffer, Amber Valletta and Julia Stegner, accompanied by comments, applications and painting. The project has been kindly supported by Vogue Italia and Estèe Lauder.
