The Irreversible Project

With the approach of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27, VII Photo Agency features The Irreversible Project with photographs by VII photographer Maciek Nabrdalik and interviews by Agnieszka Nabrdalik. The photographer has worked internationally to restore an identity to the victims who have been rendered nameless by the impersonal tone of concentration camp statistics and for whom we must never forget the inhumanity that took place.
Featuring portraits and interviews with prisoners of different nationalities, creeds and viewpoints, The Irreversible book is available for pre-order in advance of its June 2013 publication (Pre-orders are $60 USD and include a signed and numbred copy of the book). As portrait series, this project was already awarded the 3rd prize in NPPA Best of the Photojournalism 2010 and the 1st prize in Polish Grand Press Photo contest the same year.
